Ken Robinson used humor and analogies to get his idea across. He was purposeful in his movement and stayed on track. He did not go off on an unrelated tangent. Robinson's clear speaking voice only helped his speech. These skills made his talk easier to watch and understand.

Sir Ken Robinson is very well spoken and his talk was effective. He got his idea across without making it painful. It was not hard to focus on his ideas and he added great examples to enhance his speech. His thoughts on changing education is a good one, but one that is hard to accomplish.
Genius Hour does support his ideas on how to change education. It lets the student choose what he or she wants to lean about instead of the instructor choosing. Genius Hour is also relatively self paced. This fits Robinson's theme of individualized learning. Genius Hour as a few requirements which help keep the student on track, but other than that the student can make Genius Hour whatever he or she wants it to be.
