Describe the progress you've made this semester on your Genius Hour Project
For this semester's Genius Hour Project, I have started baking more difficult recipes. I made profiteroles with a chocolate sauce and a Black Forest Cake. I am still deciding on a recipe to teach to someone. I have yet to update by webpage.
What is the most challenging aspect of your project so far?
The most challenging aspect of my project is time. With homework and extracurricular activities I can only bake on the weekends. Baking is a long process when you include shopping, prep work, oven time, and cleaning up. Even a simple recipe takes a few hours of work. After I bake I am usually exhausted which hinders my want to bake again.
